How I was Introduced to Chi Alpha: I visited a XA campus church at the U of I. They were clapping, dancing, and speaking in tongues. I was thoroughly freaked out – but also intrigued with their passion for God. All I knew was I wanted what they had!!

How I was Introduced to Chi Alpha: I was at a Sunday night service at Bethel Christian Life Center when Linda was sharing about what Chi Alpha is all about. She also shared about how God called her into the ministry and how she was coming with a team to Purdue to start a Chi Alpha. I was really excited about that and knew immediately that I wanted to be a part of this group!
Favorite vegetable: Steamed broccoli. I will also eat raw broccoli, but it needs to have ranch dressing on it in that case, otherwise it's a little too dry for me.
Two books that most influenced my life: The Case for Faith by Lee Strobel; Enjoying God by S.J. Hill.
Two of my heroes: Jesus and my Grandfather
The God-related topics that most interest me: Evidence for God in science, the love of God, how to grow in the knowledge of God

How I was Introduced to Chi Alpha: In late 2007/early 2008 I was beginning to get interested in this whole "pentecostal" thing, so I visited a handful of the Assemblies of God churches in the area. I gave those churches my contact information, then Chi Alpha contacted me and introduced me to their group on campus.
Favorite vegetable: taters.
Two books that most influenced my life: Good Morning Holy Spirit by Benny Hinn and whatever textbook I currently need for homework.
Two of my heroes: Dominic Adams and Jess Vandergraff
The God-related topics that most interest me: the manifested (tangible) presence of God, the Spirit of God, and establishing the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth (I know very little about this one, but it just sounds cool, so I'll figure it out as I go).
