We’re not a frat; we’re a family of Americans and International students who live to know Jesus and make Him Known. Our Greek name Chi (X) Alpha (A) comes from the initials of a phrase written by the Apostle Paul in 2 Cor. 5:20:
“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.”
Translated, Chi Alpha means “Christ’s sent ones,” which why we exist—to bring the Good News of the gospel to the campus, into the marketplace, and around the world. Whether you’ve been following Jesus your whole life or you’re investigating Christianity, we would love to have you be a part of the Purdue Chi Alpha family!
What's Important to Chi Alpha?
Continual communication with God
(like during your Chemical Engineering exam)
Doing what Jesus would do
(like actually attending your Chem E. class)
Helping each other
(think study partner for your Chem E.)
Telling God thank you
(especially after passing Chem E.)
Mission (Thessalonians 2:8, 2 Corinthians 5:20)
Transforming the world
(using Chemical Engineering to develop the next breakthrough in bio fuels)
